Global Woman DisRUPTOR feature: Amira Sajwani

Her Story

Amira Sajwani

Amira Sajwani is a leading Emirati businesswoman and entrepreneur with a significant presence in Dubai's real estate sector, holding several key leadership roles across a growing portfolio of ventures.

As Managing Director of Sales and Development at DAMAC Properties — a prominent private real estate developer in the UAE and the Middle East — Amira is responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from design and sales to marketing and data analytics. She also manages the company's sales network strategy, playing a central role in shaping how one of the region's most recognized developers reaches its buyers.

She is the Founder and CEO of PRYPCO, a Dubai-based proptech firm built to democratize real estate investing. PRYPCO offers a comprehensive ecosystem of property services, including fractional ownership, real estate tokenization, mortgages, and Golden Visa services — making property investment accessible to a far broader base of investors, who can start with as little as AED 2,000.

Alongside her brother Ali Sajwani, Amira co-founded Amali Properties, which specializes in ultra-luxury real estate with highly customizable, uniquely designed villas. Their projects include Amali Island in the World Islands, a $544.5 million development that sold out within a month of launch.

In 2024, Amira established AlphaHAS, a holding company bringing together a diversified portfolio across real estate, technology, consumer ventures, and private markets — extending her reach well beyond property development.

Beyond her corporate roles, Amira Sajwani is a judge on the reality series Shark Tank Dubai, where she evaluates early-stage ventures and mentors the next generation of entrepreneurs. She is an alumna of University College London (UCL) and the London School of Economics (LSE), and remains a strong advocate for women in business and education.
